Fireray 5000 5000-102 100m Auto-Aligning Optical Beam Detector

The Fireray 5000 is a motorised, auto-aligning infrared optical beam smoke detector. It can now be installed with up to two detector heads per system, saving on installation time and costs. This innovative system has been designed from the ground up to incorporate pioneering technology that fully addresses the needs of both the installer and the user, now and in the future.

The Fireray 5000 combines an infrared transmitter and receiver in the same discrete unit and operates by projecting a well-defined beam to a reflective prism, which returns the beam to the receiver for analysis. When smoke appears in the beam path, this causes a drop in power, which, when pre-determined, results in an alarm signal.
