Overview Features

The FireHawk FH450RB Mains Powered Heat Alarm provides reliable heat detection for areas where smoke alarms are not suitable.

It is ideal for kitchens, garages, and other environments where cooking fumes or dust could cause nuisance activations.

A built-in rechargeable lithium backup battery ensures the alarm continues to operate even during a mains power failure.

The alarm uses advanced thermistor detection to respond quickly to rapid rises in temperature. It can be hardwired and interconnected with up to 15 FireHawk mains-powered alarms, or linked wirelessly when used with the FH550RF Wireless Interlink Base.

Fully approved to BS 5446-2:2003 and Kitemarked (KM 579552), it meets the strict requirements for domestic heat detection and is suitable for use within a BS 5839-6 Grade D1 system.
