Ajax Superior CombiProtect Fibra

The Ajax CombiProtect Fibra is a wired indoor security detector combining passive infrared (PIR) motion detection and acoustic glass break detection in a single device. Designed for use with Ajax Fibra security systems, it provides two forms of intrusion detection while reducing the need for separate detectors.

Equipped with a PIR sensor, CombiProtect Fibra offers a motion detection range of up to 12 metres, with an 88.5° horizontal and 80° vertical detection angle. The integrated SmartDetect software algorithm helps distinguish genuine movement from potential false alarms, while pet immunity allows the detector to ignore animals weighing up to 20 kg and measuring up to 50 cm in height.

The built-in electret microphone provides glass break detection at distances of up to 9 metres, with a 180° horizontal detection angle. A two-factor verification algorithm analyses low and high sound frequencies to identify breaking glass while filtering out common sources of false alarms, such as barking dogs and passing trucks.

Using Ajax Fibra wired communication technology, the detector supports two-way encrypted communication with a compatible hub over distances of up to 2,000 metres. Device authentication and regular polling help maintain secure communication and provide real-time status information.

Motion and glass break sensitivity can be adjusted independently using three sensitivity levels, allowing the detector to be configured for different installation environments.

The CombiProtect Fibra also features tamper protection, SmartBracket mounting and remote configuration through Ajax mobile and desktop apps. Operating from a 24 V DC supply, the detector offers low power consumption of up to 60 µA.

Compliant with EN 50131 Grade 2 and PD 6662:2017, the detector is suitable for professional wired security installations and is available exclusively through accredited Ajax partners.
