Aico Ei144E 230V Mains Heat Alarm With 9V Backup Battery

The Aico Ei144E 230V Mains Heat Alarm is designed to detect the rapid temperature rise associated with larger fires, making it suitable for locations such as kitchens and garages where smoke alarms may be prone to unwanted activations.

Using a Heat (A1) thermistor sensor, the Ei144E triggers when the temperature reaches 58°C. The alarm is powered from a 230V AC mains supply and incorporates a 9V alkaline battery backup to maintain operation if mains power is interrupted. Clear LED indicators provide visual status information, with green indicating power and red indicating an alarm or fault condition.

Installation is simplified by Aico's Easi-fit base, which allows the alarm to be fitted quickly and securely. The Ei144E is also compatible with the Ei168RC RadioLINK Base, enabling wireless interconnection where required. This allows the heat alarm to form part of a linked domestic alarm system without requiring a wired interconnect connection between compatible alarms.

With a power consumption of 0.75W, an operating temperature range of -10°C to +40°C and a humidity range of 15% to 95%, the alarm is designed for dependable everyday domestic fire detection.
