Agrippa Black Acoustic Overdoor Door Closer

The Agrippa Black Acoustic Overdoor Door Closer is a wire-free, battery-powered free-swing fire door closer designed to replace a traditional closer while allowing the door to feel light and resistance-free during everyday use.

Once installed, the door can be held open at any position between 60° and 105°, improving accessibility and ease of movement throughout a building.

Using advanced listen and learn technology, the closer records the exact sound pattern of a building’s fire alarm. It will only activate and close the door when this specific alarm is detected, helping reduce false activations and ensuring compliance with site alarm setups.

The integrated LED screen displays setup information, low battery warnings and an optional daily timed release, ensuring all fire doors return to the closed position at night. A red button on the unit allows the user to manually close the door at any time.

The Agrippa closer is recognised by UK Fire & Rescue Services, suitable for installation to BS 7273-4 Standard Actuation (Category B) and conforms to EN1155 and EN1154. Finished in black and powered by two C-cell batteries, it offers a highly practical solution for enhancing fire door usability without compromising safety.
