Advanced MXP-516 MxPro 5 2-Position Key Switch (Trapped)

The Advanced MXP-516 is a 2-position trapped key switch designed for use with Advanced MxPro 5 fire alarm control panels.

It provides secure, key-operated control for selected system functions, helping to prevent unauthorised operation.

The MxPro 5 range supports direct installation of key switches onto the control panel main board.
MxPro 5 single loop panels support one key switch, while 2 and 4 loop panels support up to eight key switches as standard.

Where an on-board printer is fitted to MxPro 5 2 or 4 loop panels, the maximum number of supported key switches is reduced to four.

If a 3-position key switch is installed, two programmable inputs must be available for each switch.

The MXP-516 is suitable for a range of operational control functions including enabling or disabling controls, group isolation across a network, and initiating class change events.
