The Zerio Plus is the perfect choice for projects where traditional wired systems may not be practical, such as retrofit, listed buildings, or areas where cabling would cause major disruption. Only the control panel requires a mains connection; all other devices are completely wireless and powered by batteries.
For smaller systems, an 8 zone panel is usually enough. For larger sites or buildings split into several areas, choose a 20 or 100 zone panel.
For most standard installations, select the recommended battery option unless your specification asks for a different standby requirement.
Smoke detectors are commonly used in offices, corridors and general areas. Heat detectors are better suited to kitchens, dusty areas or places where steam may cause false alarms.
Sounders are used to alert people when the fire alarm activates. Beacons provide a visual warning and are useful in noisy areas, accessible spaces or locations where a visual alert may be required.
Manual call points allow someone to raise the alarm by hand in an emergency. They are usually installed on escape routes, by final exits and at key points around the building.
