The Patol 700-001LS0H Red Linear Heat Detection Cable is a resettable analogue linear heat detection cable designed to provide early warning of overheating and fire conditions in applications where conventional point detectors may be unsuitable or impractical.
Constructed with a flame-retardant polyethylene (FRPE) outer sheath and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H) properties, the cable is designed for use in harsh and demanding environments. It can be installed over long distances while maintaining the ability to detect localised hot spots occurring on small sections of the cable.
Unlike digital linear heat detection cables, the Patol analogue cable offers recoverable and resettable operation, allowing it to be tested and reused following activation. The cable is compatible with a wide range of monitoring equipment, interface modules and control systems, making it suitable for both new installations and replacement projects.
Applications include cable tunnels, conveyor systems, warehouse racking, electrical switchgear, road and rail tunnels, petrochemical facilities, cold stores, engine compartments and other environments where difficult access, harsh conditions or close proximity detection is required.
