The Global Fire OCTO+ OCTO-2 Addressable Fire Alarm Panel - 2 Loop is based on the proven JUNO NET platform and introduces a fully peer-to-peer, multi-master Chameleon Network.

Designed for large, distributed systems, this architecture delivers exceptional resilience, with each NODE+ storing complete system data to ensure uninterrupted operation even if network communications are lost.

The network supports RS422, fibre-optic, and Ethernet connections, with closed-loop or multi-path topologies for maximum redundancy. A single Chameleon Network can support up to 32 NODE+, while each OCTO+ panel manages 1 to 4 addressable loops, allowing up to 128 loops per system.

OCTO+ integrates with the ODYSSEY Graphics Interface, third-party BMS via Modbus, and remote repeaters. A graphic backlit LCD provides multi-language support and customisable visual elements.

Housed in an aluminium enclosure with a reversible plastic lid, the panel includes a PSU, front-end display, NODE+ unit, and optional networking interfaces. Space is available for 24V DC sealed lead-acid batteries, delivering up to 24 hours of backup power for low-consumption NODE+ and ZEOS devices.

System expansion is simplified using NODE+ panels without displays, allowing human-machine interfaces only where required. Cause and Effect programming and customer configurations are uploaded via the CHAMELEON CONNECTOR software and automatically shared across the network.
