FireSmart Premium FT120 2 Core 1.5mm Fire Alarm Cable

The FireSmart Premium FT120 2 Core 1.5mm Fire Alarm Cable is an enhanced, fire-resistant cable designed for use in fire detection, fire alarm, emergency lighting, and emergency voice communication systems.

Manufactured to BS 7629-1 and certified by BASEC and LPCB, the FT120 meets the enhanced fire-resistance requirements of BS 8491 and is suitable for all enhanced applications specified in BS 5839-1, BS 5839-8 and BS 5266-1.

Built with solid or stranded plain annealed copper conductors and insulated with enhanced silicone rubber, the cable offers excellent performance in high-temperature and fire conditions. An enhanced aluminium/polyester laminated electrostatic screen provides additional protection against interference.

The FT120 is sheathed in enhanced thermoplastic Zero Halogen, Low Smoke (OHLS®) material, helping to minimise smoke and toxic emissions during a fire. Its easy handling characteristics allow for simple installation without specialist tools.
