Eaton KEY-2R-KPZ Wireless Keypad with Built-in Proximity Reader

The Eaton (Scantronic) KEY-2R-KPZ is a wireless surface-mounted keypad for intruder alarm systems, combining keypad control, an LCD display, two onboard zones and a built-in proximity reader in one compact unit.

It is designed for installations where wireless system control is preferred, helping avoid the need to run keypad cabling back to the panel. It is intended for normal day-to-day operation of a compatible alarm system, allowing users to set and unset the system, access user options and acknowledge alarms from the keypad.

The display-based format makes it suitable for routine system management in both residential and commercial intruder alarm installations.

A built-in proximity tag reader allows convenient setting and unsetting without always entering a code, while the keypad also includes a panic button and backlit ABCD keys for added usability.

The two onboard zones provide extra flexibility for connecting local wired devices where required. For installation, the keypad learns directly into an Eaton Secure Radio panel or expander and offers a wireless range of up to 700 metres in free space.
