C-TEC PDA103i Wall Mounted Compact Hearing Loop

The C-TEC PDA103i is a self-contained hearing loop system designed for use with disabled refuge systems, door entry points and intercom help points. It provides a practical solution for improving communication with hearing aid users in locations where clear speech transmission is essential.

The unit is specifically intended to help meet accessibility requirements under the Equality Act and the 2018 revision of BS 8300.

Housed within a robust IP65-rated enclosure, the PDA103i is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations where protection against dust and water ingress is required. Its compact, wall-mountable design makes it well suited to entrances, refuge points and other communication locations where space may be limited.

The system incorporates adjustable input and output controls, allowing installers to tailor performance to the specific characteristics of the application. A built-in audio processor helps suppress unwanted noises, hisses and clicks, supporting clearer communication for hearing aid users.

Internal indicators provide visual confirmation of system status, including power, peak, limit and loop fault conditions, helping simplify maintenance and fault finding. When correctly installed, the PDA103i exceeds the requirements of PD IEC TR 63079, BS7594 and EN60118-4.
